At the start of the game, deal cards

At the start of a game, each player is dealt a number of cards. In many variations of Rummy, 7, 10 or 14 cards are dealt to each player.

In RRRummy, you can set up your game to deal any number of cards from 1 to 26.

Games with this rule

This rule applies to every game in RRRummy. The number of cards dealt vary from 1 in Windmill to 14 in Tile Rummy and other games.

 

In Rummy games (like Gin Rummy), generally 10 to 14 cards are dealt. In Tile Rummy, you deal 14 cards.
