1. Running RRRummy
Will RRRummy run on my computer or phone?
RRRummy will run on all computers and other devices for which Java is available.
For iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android tablets and phones, we offer the Pup Rummy + app.
RRRummy won't start. Nothing happens, or I get a gray window.
Probably, Java is missing. RRRummy needs Java to run.

It says it needs Java. What is that?
Java is software first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995. It is the underlying technology that powers state-of-te-art software including games, utilities, and business applications. It is avaliable for free for many different computer systems.
RRRummy too, will only work if you have Java installed on your computer. If you get a message telling you that you need to install Java first, then you should download Java and install it before you can play RRRummy.
When I start RRRummy, the screen goes black or orange, or parts of the screen are repeated.
This is due to an error in the video driver (a piece of system software) on your computer.
To fix the problem in the downloaded version of RRRummy, you can start RRRummy from the Windows Start menu, All programs, RRRummy 7, and then choose the option RRRummy (NoDD).
TIP: You can drag that icon out of the start menu onto your desktop for a quicker start of RRRummy in the future.
Another (and better) possible way to fix the problem is to go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer and download and install the latest video driver software for your type of computer and graphics card.
When I start RRRummy, WinRar (or another program) opens. How can I start RRRummy?
Some other programs associate the .jar extension (for Java programs) to themselves. Usually you can fix this in the program itself.
Also, the .jar extension will be repaired if you download and install Java again, even if it says that Java is already correctly installed.
2. Buying RRRummy
Is RRRummy available on a CD-ROM?
Yes, it is. Just go to our buying page and choose one of the options including a CD.

I had to enter my full name when I activated RRRummy. Can I change the name afterwards?
No, you can't change the licensed name. That is to discourage people to share their license key with others.

Why do my opponents seem to have more time for their turn than I have?
Rest assured, they have exactly the same time as you have.
It may seem longer because there are several delays involved:
- It may take a few seconds before their RRRummy sends their move to the game server.
- It may take a few seconds before your RRRummy gets this move from the game server.
- Finally, when your RRRummy is moving the cards it may take longer than it actually took the other player to move these cards.
But in their RRRummy, the clock ticks away as quickly as it does for you!
